SUMMIT One Vanderbilt was developed as part of the One Vanderbilt skyscraper project, a modern landmark rising next to Grand Central Terminal. Conceived as a new kind of observation experience, it aimed to go beyond traditional viewing decks by integrating immersive art and architecture.

Designed by Kenzo Digital, the space was envisioned as a multi sensory environment where mirrors, glass, and light interact with the surrounding skyline. Construction focused on precision engineering to safely support transparent floors and reflective surfaces at extreme heights.

Since opening to the public in 2021, SUMMIT has quickly become one of New York City’s most distinctive attractions, redefining how visitors engage with the skyline and setting a new standard for experiential observation spaces.
